Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born June 13 1962) is an American actor from the United States. In 1983, following her debut film Bad Boys starring as a Brat Pack part of WarGames 1982 as well as The Breakfast Club '85 she was well-known as a member of the group. Sheedy received an Independent Spirit Award as Best Female Lead in her character in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy has been an American writer and actor for more than twenty years. At the beginning of the 80s, she made her debut on film by appearing in the crime thriller film Bad Boys. She was very well-received in this film. The film was written and directed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other well-known actors like Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. The film's first big success was the catalyst for her to appear in The Breakfast Club, a comedy-drama in 1985. The movie was directed by John Hughes is considered one among the most memorable high school films ever made. Even though the budget for this film was only $1 million, the film has earned more than $50 million. Meanwhile she had also started being featured in various shows on TV like CBS Schoolbreak which was her television debut. It was a program designed for teens and aired beginning in April 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues are other television shows in which she was featured. In Little Sister she makes a guest appearance. Also, she appears in X-Men Apocalypse a superhero film where her character is a brief cameo. Sheedy has been recognized for her extraordinary performances won many awards. Sheedy was awarded the MTV Movie Awards' silver Bucket of Excellence Award 2005.
